Special Occupational Tax Retailers and wholesalers of alcoholic beverages must pay the SOT and complete a registration form with the ATF.  The tax is $250 annually for retailers and $500 for wholesalers.

HAZMAT Registration Those who carry hazardous material are required to register and pay a fee ($275 for small businesses, plus a processing fee and $2,000 for all other registrants) with the DOT.

TRI Reporting  Toxic Release Inventory Forms must be filed by facilities if the facility has 10 or more full-time employees, the facility is a petroleum bulk station or terminal, the facility processed gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene or lubricating oil, the facility exceeded the 25,000 pound threshold. If marketers have never filed a TRI report, they probably will not have to file this year.
